Mike Martin didn't start Home Team to build another roofing company. He started it because he knew homeowners deserved a better experience.
Before founding Home Team, Mike worked as an insurance adjuster, where he saw firsthand how overwhelming the repair process could become for homeowners — especially when major damage, insurance claims, and contractors all collided at once. That experience gave him a rare perspective on what homeowners actually needed: straight answers, clear communication, quality work, and a team willing to take ownership from start to finish.
He saw an opportunity to do it differently.
Home Team was built around a higher standard: communicate clearly, show up when you say you will, take pride in the craftsmanship, and stand behind the work long after the project is complete.
That philosophy turned one roofing company into a trusted Greater Houston home improvement team with more than 45,000 installations completed.
